Inspired by our truely aweful drive-train performance with DEWBOT IV in 2008, team Sab-BOT-age started to operate a summer program. During this summer program, we would select a technology which we believed would be important for us to understand. Then we would design, build prototypes, test prototypes, understand performance parameters, develop mathematical models, and finally develop executable hypothetical designs.
Program targets and execution varies year-to-year, but the program has proven its value and keeps students (and mentors) thinking year-round.
