VEX Parent Update – 3 March 2010
VEX Shirts - The 2010 shirts are here and available! They are $15. Please have cash or checks payable to "Downingtown Area Robotics". We would like to have all the roboteers wear shirts to the contest at Christopher Dock. Please pay at the meeting on the 20th or on the morning of the 23rd at the school before we leave.
Build nightsWe are back to our regular Wednesday build nights. There are just two more Wednesday build nights before our last competition at DEC on 13 March. We have two teams (80 and 81) qualified, lets get some more!
Competition on 27 February We had a great trip to Westminster Maryland, 21 roboteers and 9 mentors went down. All the teams did well, see the news story VEX teams go to Westminster where you can read all about it. Special congrats go to Christine and Fatima of Team 80 for winning design and innovation awards and to Mike L for winning the programming award! They are eligible to go to Worlds in April.
Easter Pennsylvania VEX Regional is being held at DEC on 13 March. We are looking for parents to help out with our only VEX fund raiser. We need parents at the school from 7:30 AM - 5 PM on that Saturday to help run the event, sell food, etc. Please come and support your roboteer and their team.

Funding We are having a tough time with sponsorship funding this year, if you know anyone that would be willing to contribute to our robot team please let us know.
