Hosted by team 1923, The MidKnight Inventors at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School. We have participated in this competition since its beginning, finishing as finalists twice and winning in 2016.

This was the 5th MidKnight Mayhem - and our 5th attendance.

1640 finished qualifications in 4th place of 34 teams with a (4-1-0) record and was invited by 2590 Nemesis to join the 3rd alliance. Team 5420 Velocity completed the alliance. We were eliminated in the rubber match of quarterfinals. Our quarterfinal opponents: 225, 1676 & 333, continued on to win the competitions.

Eric drove in three of the qualifiers and all of the elimination matches. Cameron made his debut as driver at MidKnight Mayhem, driving in the 11th and 20th matches (our 2nd and 4th). Akhila served as Robot Operator and Madi as Human Player in all matches. Laura and Matthew served in their regular positions as Coach and Pilot. Vinnie trained as lead scout (Ian teaching). MidKnight Mayhem was the first competition for new students Ali and David.

The FIRST Mid-Atlantic Annual Meeting was held during the competition. 1640 was represented.
