Leading dates are in FRC 2010 Calendar We will keep you posted as the dates change and become confirmed.

Fall FRC Meetings - Starting 16-September

Fall FRC meetings will begin on Wednesday 16-September from 6:30-8:30 PM at the Downingtown Educational Center. Fall FRC meetings will focus on skills training and preparation for our two Fall FRC competitions.

Wednesday VEX Roboteer Build sessions starting September 23, 2009

Our new season playing VEX Robotics Clean Sweep starts September 23 at the Downingtown Educational Center from 6:30-8:30 PM. We will be starting a new robot design for the new game! New and experienced roboteers in 7th to 12th grade are welcome! See our Clean Sweep page for more details. Parents are welcome to come on 16 September for an informational meeting.

VEX Mentors - Tuesday Mentor Workshops

We've completed the last of this seasons Mentor Workshops. See Mentor Workshop for details of what the workshops cover. We will be starting them up in the fall. If you have a need for one across the summer contact Info at STEMRobotics . org to get one set up.

FIRST Lego League

The first season of Downingtown Robotics FIRST Lego League is over, but new LEGO building is coming soon. Come to the Science Fair on May 3 starting at 6:00 PM at Lionville Elementary to see last years robots and get information about 2010-2011. VEX Scrimmage - Clean Sweep - Penn State Abington - Saturday December 5, 2009

This is our first chance to play Clean Sweep against other teams in the area. We will leave the school at 6:55 AM and drive to Abington. We will need drivers to take roboteers and help with the event. We will be done about 4PM and should be back to the school by 5:30PM.

FRC Kickoff - Saturday January 9, 2010

We will attend the FRC Kick-off (and pick up our Kit of Parts) at Upper Darby High School, Performing Arts Center, 9-12 on 9-January-2010. 601N Lansdowne Ave, Drexel Hill, PA

FRC Finger Lakes Regional Competition - March 4-6, 2010

Gordon Field House, Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY

DEWBOT VI goes on the road to compete in the 2010 game Breakaway. We are traveling north to compete against teams that we have not matched up with in our prior 5 seasons. This is also our first try at a Week One competition. Do we have the stamina to compete after a grueling six week build season? Are our student drivers and players ready for tough competition? Are we really ready to travel to a place that has more snow than we do? All of these and more at the Finger Lakes Regional 2010!

FRC Philadelphia Regional Preparation Meetings - March 7 - March 22

The FRC team will meet to work on improvements for Drexel. See the Post-Finger Lakes Improvement Plans for details. FRC 2010 Calendar also has the times

FRC Philadelphia Regional Competition - March 25-27, 2010

Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA

Watch DEWBOT VI strut it stuff in our "home" event. See us compete against teams from all across the country. Drexel is only 45 minutes from Downingtown and there is lots of free parking. Admission is free. Wear your DEWBOT shirts (or VEX shirts) both on sale and support your robotics team!
