FRC 2010 schedule
The first part of the Silly Season (guessing the venues and dates) has started. Leading dates are FRC_2010_Calendar We will keep you posted as the dates change and become confirmed
Fall FRC Meetings - Starting 16-September
Fall FRC meetings will begin on Wednesday 16-September from 6:30-8:30 PM at the Downingtown Educational Center. Fall FRC meetings will focus on skills training and preparation for our two Fall FRC competitions.
Wednesday VEX Roboteer Build sessions starting September 23, 2009
Our new season playing Clean Sweep starts September 23 at the Downingtown Educational Center from 6:30-8:30 PM. We will be starting a new robot design for the new game! New and experienced roboteers in 7th to 12th grade are welcome! See Clean Sweep for more details. Parents are welcome to come on 16 September for an informational meeting.
VEX Mentors - Tuesday Mentor Training - 15 September - 3 November
We will be holding classes for new mentors starting Tuesday night at the Downingtown Educational Center from 6:30-8:30 PM. See Mentor Workshop for details. Bring your VEX kits with you.
FIRST Lego League
The first season of Downingtown Robotics FIRST Lego League is starting up. Come to the Kickoff Party on September 3 starting at 6:30 PM at Lionville Elementary. Meetings are Monday nights at 6:30 at Lionville Elementary starting on September 21. See FIRST Lego League 2009 for the schedule and more information.
Downingtown East High School Faculty Meeting Robotics Demo - November 4, 2009
Introduce the robotics programs and the robots to the faculty of Downingtown East High School part of our 2010 Season Recruiting Effort.
Ramp Riot (FRC) - Saturday November 14, 2009
Wissahickon High School, Ambler, PA
- Pits Open at 7 AM
- Event Open 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
This is our second of two off season events. This is also a chance for our roboteers to go to an FRC event. It is a good practice run for the upcoming FRC season. Ramp Riot draws teams from all over to this exciting and hard fought event. This is also a perfect viewers event, the upper level seating puts fans not only on top of the action on the field but also on top of the action in the pits.
