Tasks Reflections
Bending Front Guards
  • Josh bent lots of plastic. He bent the plastic over a steel tube in order to make it curved. He had to heat up the plastic in several places. He finished with this and plans to mount it to the robot next meeting.
Finishing and Improving Drive Train
  • Some people came in before hand and worked a lot on the robot. They now have the lifter done. We watched video's of other teams robots and took an idea, we have 2 gear shaped wheels to push on the pole's. We have probably had the most productive day so far today.
  • Josh worked to mill a shaft key for a new shaft to place in the gear box of the arm.
  • Bennett helped Wade replace the old bolts. He also drilled holes in the tetrix mount for the gearbox.
  • Trevor worked on improving the drive train by using a modified Omni wheel.
  • Amal was controlling the phone throughout the attempts of driving the robot up the mountain.
electrical work
  • Braden and Trevor tried to find the best place to put the electronics. Then they worked on putting on all of the Velcro on the electronic controllers.
