30 teams descended on Souderton High School for the first annual Souderton VEXperiment on 12 February 2011. We were pleased to see old friends from Cherry Hill make the trip over. With teams fresh off of the DockBots'11 experience the match times went quickly. There had been a lot of improvements in the robots over the last three weeks and it showed. We had lots of good autonomous routines and our driver skills were at an all time high.

At the end of qualifications Team 80 was at the top with a 6-0-1 record, their best showing this year. The sixth, seventh and eighth captains were Downingtown's Beast, Phoenix and Lady Deathstrike. By the time alliance selection was over, all of the VEXMEN teams were on alliances.

There were some great quarter final and semi-final action. Scores were very close with a lot of defensive plays. Putting rings under the ladder was an often used strategy. Lots of scoring and then defensive removal of the rings kept score totals sliding back and forth.

At the end it was two Downingtown teams facing off; 2nd seed 23A Phoenix vs. 4th seed 92 Juggernaut. After 2 tough rounds, team 92 and their partners were the winners. 92 is the fifth team from Downingtown to qualify for the Worlds Championship!
