CAD - Computer Aided Design
This is how engineers design mechanical components today.
Team 1640 uses Autodesk Inventor as its CAD platform. Inventor is a FIRST standard. We receive 10 licenses with registration each year. The program is versitile and very capable. We've also got a large labrary of parts (and many more part easilt available).
