AutoCAD wire-frame model of lift & hopper
Our build process is divided into the following five stages:
  • Brainstorming & Goal Setting
  • Prototyping
  • Designing
  • Building
  • Testing, Debugging & Training

We prototyped the following features:

  • Ball Lift
  • Ball Shooter
  • Feed to Ball Shooter

We designed in AutoCAD (not Inventor):

  • Ball Lift
  • Hopper
  • Feed Chute
  • The mount and integration of the Shooter with the robot, including the "ski jump"

Week One - Brainstorm, Prototype & Research (1/8-1/14)

  • Brainstorm session on 1/8
  • Build sub-teams
  • Inventoried & organized the Kit of Parts
  • Started prototyping & testing:
  • Ball Lift
  • Ball Shooter
