DJ holding award
Driver Douglas wearing DJ's glasses
Team 1640 received the Xerox Creativity Award at Hatboro-Horsham for a Heads-up Display aiming assist developed by Senior Programmer Dhananjay (DJ).

The driver wears safety glasses with peripheral LEDs which flash to direct the driver towards the high goal. A flashing right LED indicates that the driver must rotate right; the flashing becomes faster as the target point is approached. When on-target, both LEDs are solidly on.

A driver's station based Arduino performs the necessary processing.
