Team 1640 (Team Sab-BOT-age) was part of the winning alliance in the Pennsylvania Robot Challenge (PARC) at Tunkhannock High School on May 9,2009, along with alliance partners Teams 222 (Tunkhannock HS - Tigertons) and 2753 (Team Overdrive).  Our alliance was undefeated through all 6 playoff matches.

PARC XII Winning Alliance - L>R Teams 1640, 222 & 2753

Team 1640 (Team Sab-BOT-age) was part of the winning alliance in the Pennsylvania Robot Challenge (PARC) at Tunkhannock High School on May 9, 2009, along with alliance partners Teams 222 (Tunkhannock HS - Tigertons) and 2753 (Team Overdrive). Our alliance was undefeated through all 6 playoff matches.

This is big. This is Team 1640's first competition championship. We came close last year with a semi-final position at Tunkhannok and a finalist at Dual on the Delaware, but this is our first win.

Tigertrons, who placed first in the qualifying rounds, led the alliance.

1640 played consistently well throughout the playoffs. DEWBOT V's reliability was excellent (following some glitches with the spindle drive).

Sab-BOT-age has participated in the PARC competition every year since the team's founding. This year, Mike Rizzo volunteered to serve as the competition's Head Referee. Brianna, Amanda, and Elizabeth helped in resetting the field between matches. Thanks for your contribution to this community.
