A year ago, in the wake of the 2013 Einstein mis-scoring incident (without blame to FIRST's handling of the situation, which was entirely fair and appropriate), the team made a single, terrible vow: Go back to Einstein in 2014 and do it right. Strong words. Tough goal. What were we thinking? This drove us for the past year. So here we are back in St. Louis; and oh my God, we did it! Together with our alliance partners 1678 (Citrus Circuits - alliance captain), 1114 (Simbotics) and 5136 (Mechapirates as back-up robot), we were Newton Division Champions (Newton again) and Einstein Finalists. What a trip!

In Einstein semifinals we eliminated Galileo, with Curie taking out Archimedes. Each of us in two matches.

Finals were especially hard fought. Curie (Teams 254 - The Cheesy Poofs, 469 - Las Guerrillas, 2848 - The All Sparks & 74 - Team C.H.A.O.S. (backup)) blew our doors off in the first match and we returned the favor in the second. Championships would be decided in the rubber match. The third match was a close one throughout and we were ahead 7 seconds before the end. But then Curie scored and we didn't. These were epic matches. Congratulations to Curie for the win!

We went (6-4-0) in qualification matches, placing 25th in a field of 100. We were the 2nd pick of the 1st alliance.
