Team 1640 and DEWBOT X made an outstanding performance at Lenape-Senaca. Our (10-2-0) qualification match record placed us as 2nd seed in a field of 39. We accepted Nemesis' (team 2590) invitation to join the 1st alliance, which was completed by Extreme Heat (team 223). Together, we finished the event as finalists.
DEWBOT X's shooter problems, which had crippled us at Hatboro-Horsham, were resolved and did not make an appearance at this event.
Also, our autonomous routine worked (well, most of the time).
Bringing these changes to the world of hard numbers, the team earned 56 district qualifying points at Lenape. This is 1640's highest historical performance for a single qualifying event. Adding this to the 21 points from Hatboro-Horsham, we've got a total qualifying score of 77, making our qualification for MAR Championships a sure thing.
Lenape also saw the premiere of the 1640 Spygear decal, which graced many faces during the event (Thanks, Ellen Kellom! Pure genius.).
