June 17th -- Build night canceled -- Downingtown Graduation is the same night, go applaud our graduating Seniors - Yay Siri, Beth, Alex and Heather!!!

Tuesday Mentor Training - 9 June - 18 Aug
We will be holding classes for new mentors starting Tuesday night at the Downingtown Educational Center from 6:30-8:30 PM. See Mentor Workshop for details. Bring your VEX kits with you.
Wednesday Roboteer Build session - 10 June - 19 Aug
Our summer build season continues at the Downingtown Educational Center from 6:30-8:30 PM. We will be starting a new robot design soon!
Alien vs. Predator - June 20, 2009
We will be running back to back events this day. Come play Elevation in the morning and Face Off in afternoon. FTC, VRC robots welcome to play either game. Doors open at 8AM, first match is at 9AM
VEX Senior Roboteer Dan Bush and his father Bud took the lead in getting the field pieces assembled. They spent about 5 hours last weekend getting the parts cut and painted. On Monday night, Dan, Bud, Matt Rusnak, Faith McKown, Steve Rhoads and Foster Schucker spent another 4 hours doing the final assembly. We have a few adjustments to make, but the field for Face Off is ready to go!

The Downingtown Robotics Team will be holding a public robotics demonstration of our current FRC,current VEX, and soon to be LEGO League robots at the Upper Uwchlan Township Block Party in Eagle, PA.

Good Neighbor Day - July 4, 2009
The Downingtown Robotics Team will be holding a public robotics demonstration of our current FRC,current VEX, and soon to be LEGO League robots at the July 4th, 2009 Good Neighbor Day in Downingtown, PA.

- Contact Faith on what food items you want to bring! You'll need to bring towels and sunblock!
Garage Clean Out! - July 18, 2009
- 18 July - Weekend 1 (Sat)
- 25 July - Weekend 2 (Sat - in case of rain or problems on the first weekend)
We will be meeting at Siri's house at 9AM to load the trailer with the last of the building material and power tools. We will be moving the lathe, so we will need extra people!
Dr. Jekyll vs. Mr. Hyde - August 22, 2009
Come play Face Off in the morning and Elevation in the afternoon. BUT your robot needs to play both games. Convert your FTC or VRC to play both games and win some great prizes!. Doors open at 8AM, first match is at 9AM.
