FRC 1640 has had an excellent MAR district competition season. We were 3rd seed and alliance captain at Westtown (which we co-host with 1391) and took home the Creativity Award. We won at Seneca, and were Finalists and received the District Chairman's Award at Hatboro-Horsham (Head Mentor Clem McKown receiving the Don Bowers Inspiration Award). At MAR Championship we finished again as Finalists, qualified for FRC Championship (Detroit version) and took home the Industrial Design Award. We concluded the MAR competition season ranked 4th in a field of 125 teams. On to Detroit!

At Detroit, we finished qualifications in 11th place (in a field of 68) on Carson Sub-Division. 1640 was picked by 5th alliance captain 71 (Team Hammond). Together with 5254 (HYPE) and 422 (Mech Tech Dragons) the alliance finished as Finalists. Sab-BOT-age also received the Excellence in Engineering Award for Carson-Tesla.
