The FIRST Tech Challenge is the name of the FIRST robotics table top sized robotics competitions. In years prior to 2007 it was called the FIRST VEX Challenge.
In 2007 it used the VEX parts in a game called Quad-Quandary. The following year for Face Off it used Lego based components. In 2008 was the creation of the VEX Robotic Challenge
