FTC 7314's first qualifier for the 2014-2015 season.  We had just turned on the robot for the very first time the night before, so we were really just barely ready for this tournament.  Drivers have very little practice and software was rudimentary.  Still, we did well.  We managed a (3-2-0) qualifier match record which put landed us as 15<sup>th</sup> seed out of 36 teams.  More to the point, this tournament seems to have validated our competition strategy of capturing a goal and scoring continuously into it.  When this worked, it was awesome.

But that was not often.  We have a great deal of work to do.  Some mechanical.  Some programming.  Mostly drive team training, though.

We won the Rockwell-Collins INNOVATE AWARD and were finalists for the THINK AWARD.  We did not qualify for the PA Championships.
