Tasks Reflections
Intake Work
  • Josh, Justin, and Braden added the surgical tubing, zip ties, motors, and chain for the intake.
  • It is now fully functional when plugged into a battery.
Bapper on Chassis
  • The 90 degree bend pipe was added to the chassis.
  • The intake can get a ball into the pipe when aimed correctly. Soon, a guide will added to funnel the balls into the pipe.
  • The bapper will be moved from the prototype to the chassis next meeting.
Autonomous
  • Today, Nick and Laura worked on the parking zone autonomous.
  • First, they added the encoder wires to the robot, so it can be used in autonomous.
  • Then, they wrote the code to line up with the center goal, and knock down the kickstand after finding the IR beacon.
  • Due to a parents meeting, they were unable to test this code. All moves/turns are written with values that they estimated to be approximately correct.
  • Next meeting, the programming team will test the code we have, and change the values where needed.
