Tasks Reflections
mill-drilling the holes
  • Josh mill-drilling the hole .133 inches of of the target the first time: but went back and fixtered it creating four holes instead of the two that were supposed to be there.
Notebook
  • Brad and Akhila worked on printing out and setting up the notebook to prepare for the competition and worked on scouting sheets for each team
Electrical work
  • Braden was able to almost finish hooking up all the motors.
Moving Samantha Module
  • Laura worked to move the Samantha module from one side of the robot to the other. It needed to be located closer to the NXT
  • It was tedious work, but it had to be done.
Score Some Balls
  • A long days work was rewarded by seeing the robot score its first ball. We lined up a tube and shot a bunch of balls (both sizes). It was very rewarding.
