Tasks Reflections
Increasing Diverter Ability and Reliability
  • Laura worked to change the shape of the diverter, so we could score in the center goal.
  • We heard from the winning alliance captain at our last tournament that we would have been much higher on their pick list if we could score in the center goal, so we made this a high priority for our next tournament.
  • Using the Dremel, the diverter was cut into a rounded shape so it could fit within the center goal.
  • Laura then practiced her patience when she redid the elastic for the new diverter.
  • CJ helped Laura also add a piece of poly carbonate between the two inner linear slides, so if a ball was going off course, it would still make it to the diverter.
Electrical Work
  • Laura and Braden added zip ties to hold the wires down.
  • Re-do Braden's reflections...
