Competition Season Meeting

Meeting Date Meeting Time Location Attendees
3-October-2015 2:00-5:00 PM TCHS Brandywine Braden, Joshua, Amal

Objectives / Systems Hypotheses, tests, observations, conclusions, plans
Debris Pick-up
  • Amal, Braden, Josh, and our mentor Paul were attempting to pick up the debris (mostly the cube debris)
  • The ball debris worked very well.
  • The gang worked on creating a prototype intake so we could attempt to possibly hope to create a final model. During the prototyping we first found out that a simple conveyor with treads and tabs would not work as it could not lift the debris off the ground independently. we then added a spinning surgical tubing intake intake so we could force the balls and squares into the tank conveyor.
  • Braden learned that the ramp has to be at a lower angle to work with the system that brings up the obstacles to the top of the robot
