Meeting Date Meeting Time Location Attendees
4 January, 2016 6pm-9pm TCHS Brandywine Akhila, Trevor, Josh, Jake, Matt, Justin, Braden

Objectives / Systems Hypotheses, tests, observations, conclusions, plans
Manufacturing
  • Braden, Daniel, Josh, Justin, Bennett, and Trevor worked on making servo paddles used to press the buttons on the rescue beacon.
  • Daniel made squares to raise servos because they were too low to press a button. he made a button presser. he trained to be back-up operator.
  • Bennett refined the existing paddles at make them hit the buttons, instead of being move aside by the beacon.
Scheduling
  • Akhila, Josh, and Trevor discussed this weeks schedule for the upcoming competition. We decided that one of our upcoming meetings will be strictly for driver practice. We also determined Friday to be "packing up" day.
Competition Preparation
  • Matt, Justin, Trevor, Daniel, Jake, Miles and Josh participated in a meeting about scouting for the upcoming competition to make sure everyone knew what to do at the competition.
  • Jake helped find the numbers for the robots to represent their team! They were warned by an anonymous inspector that it would probably be important for visibility.
Cleaning the workshop
  • Matt helped clear of bits of materials we were using to build our robot of the machines. He also vacuumed up everything around the workshop.
  • Daniell put drill batteries on charge and put the drills away in the cupboard. This was done in the hopes of having working drills with batteries consistently.
  • Bennett helped Matt clean up bits of debris from the floor. This will help make sure the workshop is in a... mostly clean state.
