4-January

We brainstormed ideas for the autonomous block flipper arm using the mounted servo. We had to change the mount point and orientation of the servo. A simple arm was built and attached to the servo. By using the prototype testing functionality of the FTC LabVIEW Remote Control Configuration, we were able to test the arm. Testing indicating a longer arm was necessary. After the quick modification was completed, we re-tested and successfully flipped a block into a basket, with the robot in the approximate position it would be in after detecting the IR beacon under that basket.

We also were able to do a little practice with driving from a block pick-up position to a good block drop position in order to dump four blocks into the end basket. We did not practice picking up blocks, however.
