Girls Exploring Tomorrow's Technology (GETT) is an opportunity for girls, parents, and educators to learn the facts about how STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) careers can be fulfilling, fun, and rewarding personally, professionally, and financially.
GETT 2009
Held on 28-March at the Downingtown Educational Center. Team 1640 was fortunately meeting in the building at the same time (Uncrating Dewbot) and were able to give a robot demonstration during lunch.
Siri, Heather, Mike Rizzo, Jon Davis, Steve Rhoads, Clem & Faith McKown participated.
