I hold degrees in Computer Science ( and Psychology ) from Michigan State University and have been a programmer for almost 40 years, working with everything from data communications and telecommunications to embedded systems and firmware to operating systems and compilers.

I have worked for the Unisys Corporation for most of the last 30 years and hold several patents and awards for my work in the Telecommunications and Data Communications areas.

In addition, I've been involved in Scouting for several years and am an Assistant Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop 52 based in Marshalton, PA, providing me some experience with leadership, group dynamics and working with young adults.

Being an amateur mechanic and life-long handyman, I bring a fair amount of expertise with tools and mechanical systems to the job as well.
