The Tactical Team is dedicated to determining, practicing and executing game play strategy, including overall approach and match-by-match techniques. It consists primarily of the drivers, operators, human players, and coaches (one each per match per robot) who participate directly in game play. Tactical works closely with the Scouting to determine and synthesize the strengths and weaknesses of alliance and opposing teams at competition. It also coordinates with the Scoring, Drivetrain, and Programming Teams concerning robot capabilities.
DEWBOT VI Drivers: Pre-college students who control the drive base
DEWBOT VI Operators: Pre-college students who control ball manipulation, i.e. the kicker and related functions
DEWBOT VI Human Players: Pre-college students who returns balls to the field
DEWBOT VI Coaches: Any team members who oversee the drive team and determine real-time strategy during the match
