FIRST Lego League

This is the information about the FLL team for the 2009/2010 season.

We have two FLL Teams this year: 2028 & 7230.

Registration: Registration for the team is being handled by [Downingtown Area Recreation Consortium]

FLL Kickoff - 3 September (Thursday) - Lionville Elementary - 6:30 PM - ** MEETING CANCELLED **

Weekly Meetings - 14 September - 21 December (Monday nights) - Lionville Elementary - 6:30 PM

Current Events

5 October Meeting

Teams reviewed official rules and missions - think about your mission strategy
Project topics selected - remember to start working on your research!
Introduction to NXT-G programming

9 November Meeting

Teams have moving robots and are working on programming
Maglev Movers (team 7230) have some missions programmed and working fairly well
Maglev Movers have their project underway
Metal Heads (team 2028) are working on attachments and programming

16 November Meeting

Maglev Movers will be competing on Saturday at the Tuneup Competition
Final mission programming and project details need to be completed

Competitions

21 November (Saturday) - Smart Moves Tuneup Competition

Lansdale Catholic High School, Lansdale PA
We are scheduled to compete in this competition
Thank you to all of the kids who competed in this event and the parents who brought them.
The kids had a great time, learned alot, and placed well. Awesome job Maglev Movers!
A big thank you to Mr. Dodds for all of his hard work with this team.

We made it to the Championship Tournament
Team 7230 placed third in Robot Performance!
Team 2028 placed eighth in Robot Performance!
What a fantastic way to finish the regular season! Great job!

We will be taking a short break while we restructure for the off season.
